Where are our Summer Dart Teams Playing this Season?!
Lakesiders Bar and Grill wins the prize for the most amount of CAP summer dart teams. This doesn't come as a huge surprise since they are right in the heart of Charlotte, typically a busier place for summer bar and restaurant goers. Lakesiders is located at 4785 Lake Avenue and open 7 days a week from 2pm to 2am. They serve food and drinks, host bands, put on karaoke nights, sponsor kickball tournaments, showcase major sporting events and lastly host 8 of our summer dart teams. In fact, the owners of the bar and restaurant typically play in our longer Fall/Winter season! We have three Arachnid boards set up at the location for casual and league play. In addition to darts, we provide amusement to their customers with a pool table, our newest style TouchTunes jukebox (the Virtuo) and an ATM in case you need some cash. Right behind Lakesiders are McKenzie's Irish Pub and The Retreat, both hosting 7 summer teams.
McKenzie's Irish Pub is located at 3685 West Henrietta Rd. A big dart spot which hosts a blind draw every Sunday night! Don't know what a blind draw is? Check out this article. The draw is run by a couple of our awesome and dependable dart players. Sign-ups take place at 9pm and the draw gets going around 9:30. The cost is $5 per player and McKenzie's matches the pot.
Another favorable dart location is The Retreat located at 512 Long Pond Road. The bar was reestablished in 2014. One reviewer posts "A new set up! Same great place with a face lift. Check it out!" The Retreat is another one of our locations where the owner plays in our league. He understands the league which benefits all of his players.
