Banquet Blind Draw Format and Rules
BLIND DRAW FORMAT – W3 & L1

This is a double elimination tournament! You must lose two matches!

Please Note: We are NOT playing league so players must set up the boards manually for each game & remember to pre set the bull. Make sure you understand the posted rules including eligibility (on reverse/second page).

Starting a Match: Every match will start with a flip and diddle! A flip and diddle consists of two parts:
  • Part One the FLIP: is a coin toss to determine the order of the diddle. The winner of the coin toss has the choice to throw the first dart of the diddle or force their opponent to throw the first dart of the diddle.
  • Part Two the DIDDLE: is one player throwing one dart (that must stick in the board) as close to the center  hole as possible, after they throw their dart and it sticks their opponent throws one dart trying to also get as close to the center hole as possible. The winner of the diddle is determined by the dart that is closest to the center hole.  If there is a tie the darts are left in the board and a second round must occur.  In the second round of a diddle the player who threw second in round one throws first in round two. This continues until a winner is determined.
Remaining Games: Loser of the first game starts the second game. If it gets to a third game, loser of the second game has choice of diddle for the third game.

Freeze Rule: A Player may “go out” or win only if their partner’s score is equal or less than the combined score of the opposing team. (’01 games with 4 scores only, indicated below)
